Supervisor
Herb moved to Turner Township in 1967 and has made it his home ever since.
He has served on the Township Board previously as a Supervisor and Trustee as well as sat on the Board of Review. He also volunteered as a FireFighter for Turner Fire Department. He helped establish the original township zoning.
Herb is a proud Veteran and helped to establish the Veteran Memorial located in Twining.
He currently holds the office of Township Supervisor and lends his experience and wisdom to the rest of the Board.
Clerk
Tina moved to Turner Township in 1994; just in time to start her freshman year at Arenac Eastern.
Since returning to the area after college, Tina has been involved in the community in many ways. She volunteered at the school, continues to volunteer and help organize Girl Scouts in Arenac County, and pitches in to help with any public events that take place in the community.
Tina also works as a full time Realtor and Limited Real Estate Appraiser while also being a full time mommy.
As the Township Clerk, she oversees elections, sits on and Chairs the Fire Board, and is the liaison between the Board and the Township Planning Commission.
Treasurer
Colleen has proudly lived and worked in the community for 30 years.
Colleen worked 25 years helping educate the local children at Arenac Eastern. She has been active with the betterment of future generations by being actively engaged in school activities; both in class and offered after school hours.
Colleen has been serving as the Township Treasurer for several years and is excited to continue learning and working for her community.
Trustee and Zoning Administrator
Rod has lived in Turner for well over 20 years. He grew up in the AuGres area and chose to make Arenac County his home.
Rod started out as an over the road trucker but has spent the last 20 years working with the local farming community on farms hauling produce.
He is proud to serve as Township Trustee and Zoning Administrator and have the opportunity to serve his community. His driving passion is to make the Township better by improving roads, bringing job opportunities and better housing to the area.
Trustee
Jim and his family have been in Turner Township and Arenac County for many generations. He retired from a local company after being a loyal employee of 37 years.
Jim has sat on the Board of Review for Turner Township as well as fulfilled the job of Deputy Treasurer.
Jim is a Vietnam Era Veteran. He served his country proudly and is now proud to serve his community.
As Township Trustee, Jim helps oversee taking bids for different Township contracts, following up on work that has been performed and also sits on the Fire Board.
